A+A Orthopedic Outreach

According to Wikipedia, "Outreach is an effort by an organization or group to connect its ideas or practices to the efforts of other organizations, groups, specific audiences or the general public. Unlike marketing, outreach does not inherently revolve around a product or strategies to increase market share. Typically non-profits, civic groups, and churches engage in outreach."

As a way to reach out to the many in need of low-cost top-notch orthopedic care, A+A Healthcare has made its board certified orthopedic specialists available for community outreach activities.

On 18 Nov 2007, A+A will be in Marikina City to provide "Operation Sagip sa Joints at Buto", in cooperation with the United Cyclists Association of the Philippines (UCAP) -- for common orthopedic muscle, joint and bone problems, and especially, sports-related injuries.

On 25 Nov 2007, Part II of Operation Sagip sa Joints at Buto will be held at the Quezon Memorial Circle. Everyone with orthopedic concerns may visit http://www.bizidoc.com and email for more info or queries or contact yours truly @ 0918-3435411.

With just a midget fee of PhP 150.oo per patient consult, Operation Sagip sa Joints at Buto will definitely encourage public interest and participation.

Doctor, Doctor, You are Sick: First Blog

8 Nov 2007

I've been thinking of blogging for quite sometime now. Doing it now.

I am Angela Del Mundo. Angel of the World. Permit me to strongly believe that in my own way, I am an angel with good intentions, with the mission to help [the world].

I have a lot in my mind you will eventually know, mostly from the point of view of a health care provider. I won't tell you what kind of health care professional I am right now. Just think of me as an opinionated angel with good intentions.

My blog will deal with Life in general, but hopefully center on health care issues in the Philippines and matters involving well-being. To have my say and help change the world for the better --- this is the mission of Doctor, Doctor, You Are Sick.

Oh, I have to tell you that sometimes I will be biased [are we not all sometimes? no matter how we try not to be?]. But I will, above all, strive to be a positive force for change, and not hurt anyone unnecessarily [we all get hurt, I do too].

Also, I have to tell you that I help maintain a health care website: http://www.bizidoc.com. Just so you know where I am coming from.
